We're home!!!

Just wanted to update everyone that we are back and safe. Dodged two hurricanes (Gustav and Ike) and survived. It was an amazing trip. Asa and Lexi are now official "road warriors" and they both did fantastic the entire trip. We put just under 6000 miles on the Yukon, 300 something gallons of gas and averaged around 21 mpg the entire trip. Not bad! I have tons of pictures and I will upload them all and update the blog in daily segments with details of the trip. We have lots of unpacking to do first though and more getting the kids "settled" and back into their normal routine of things. First thing out of Asa's mouth this morning... "Go for ride? Go see Grandma Dot!" He really loved his Grandma Dot!
