Day 6 - Thursday, September 4th

Today was by far one of our busiest days! We did so much and had a lot of fun. Today we primarily stayed in and around Destin and San Destin, Florida. This morning we ate breakfast at the Donut Hole. This is one of our favorite breakfast restaurants and it was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan back in 2004 and I think they just got done rebuilding it last year. It looks exactly the same and the food is just as good as it was back then!

After breakfast we drove to Silver Sands Outlet Mall and walked around and let Asa and Lexi play in the outdoor playground they have there. Asa really liked the dragon buried in the sand, that is until he saw the...

Pretty little Lexi. Can't believe she will be 1 yr old in just 2 more days! Growing up so fast. This is such a cute little outfit on her and I am glad we got this picture because she doesn't have this dress anymore (see Day 10).

Here we are at the Gulfarium in Destin, Florida. All of the animals they have there are all rescued animals, either from the Gulf or other parts of the country.

Asa was very serious during the entire Dolphin and Sea Lion show.

Asa really liked the "Touch Pool". Here is a horseshoe crab. Daddy picked it up, but Asa wasn't really sure if he wanted to touch it or not. Lexi didn't think twice about it though!

Yummy! Dinner at Old Bay Steamer! I can't wait! This is by far my most favorite restaurant ever! I do have to explain this picture. At this point, John was getting really annoyed by my insisting that we take a picture at every place we eat, so he rushed me and the kids under the sign and before I knew it, he was done. Now I know why. Just point and click, right? LOL. None of the 3 of us were even looking in his direction. I think this was pretty much the end to taking a picture in front of restaurant signs!
