Halloween Dress Rehearsal!

Because I'm a slacker and waited until 2 weeks before Halloween to finally find Lexi a costume, the pickings were pretty slim. Don't get me wrong, we have been "discussing" what to dress her up as for weeks, but can never make a decision as nothing really stood out that said, "There - that's the one!". I finally went to BabiesRUs to "see" what they had. Not much and most of the costumes that would fit her are the bunting kind that keeps her feet inside, more like for an infant. Well, she's walking now so that's not going to work. Hidden way in the back of the rack was this really super cute Butterfly Costume. At first I wasn't sure, but decided to get it anyway and see how it looked and if it didn't look right, I could always return it, right? I'm so glad I got it because I have NEVER seen a cuter butterfly in my entire life! OMG - just so perfect for her! And she can walk in it and wear her new pink tennies which will match perfectly! Only tricky part now, is that Asa wants to be a butterfly too!
